CAMPING AT WAURALTEE BEACH

Had a good camp at Wauraltee with Nanna, Kirsty, Chelsea & the boss .... plus the added attraction of hundreds of MICE. Brought back memories of my childhood when I camped at Corny Point many years ago with Jack & Matt .... we were chasing mice, catching them in a water trap & chucking them in the fire, dead or alive !!! Nanna was shit scared of the mice but Chelsea didn't seem to mind them.

Nanna, Kirsty & Chelsea taking it easy after lunch. Don't know why these humans bother with a toilet tent .... any bush suits me just fine !!!

Always had to stand guard for Nanna to protect her from the mice ... boy is she a scardicat !!

Caught several feeds of crabs .... Kirsty caught 2 sqid & a KG whiting, but the whiting must have moved on. I came close to catching 2 sea gulls .... just missed them by the length of a tail feather !! Was stalking a pelican for 30 minutes but the smartarse kept paddling out past the blue line ... better a noah's ark gets him than me !!!

There was some guy called Wilson standing by the camp fire for the whole camp .... didn't move a muscle, talk or do anything useful the whole time !!!! But Chelsea thought Wilson was OK because he didn't hassle her like Nanna & Kirsty did sometimes ?? She would put her arm around Wilson & say "It's OK Wilson, I'll talk to you even if Nanna & Mum don't " Thankfully he didn't eat much either .... more scraps for me !!
